Deep Into the Ground
Today’s entry title comes from “Billy Elliot: The Musical”, which danced away with over ten Tony Awards last Sunday night! I used to be all about theatre, but then I got to college where there were so many opportunities, and I realized that I could use my acting skills all the time as a teacher and as a Senator. Make no mistake, when the Bard said that all the world was a stage, he probably had politics and classrooms specifically in mind.
My online course continues to go well. If I could pull off an A in that course, it would really help me out. A’s in general help me out. Not only are they a good grade to recieve, they’re also valuable letters in the English language.
President Thomas and I have been working on a new handbook for Senators for the fall. Last year, some freshmen Senators admitted that they didn’t fully understand their duties, and thus felt unable to fully contribute to Senate meetings. Other projects continue, like expanding the WickIt program and moving the Senate office.
Well, that’s all for now, just a short update. Have a good day everyone!
Later days,
Nico
