Hi!

I’m alive, I swear!  No one told me that Junior year would be kicking my butt so much!

I’m still working on that retrospective Prague photo post...it’s pretty hard to sort through thousands (yes, I took about five thousand photographs between my digital camera and film), then edit and upload the ones I like the best.

In the good news category, I’ll be going to Paris with my dad, my aunt, and my grandma for her 75th birthday.  I’m wicked excited for it!  Thanks, dad!  Another good thing - I’m a faculty scholar!  I was nominated by the Art and Art History department for a JCH scholarship, so yay!  And congrats to all the other nominees!!!

That’s it for now...enjoy the (slightly) warmer (and more moist) weather while it lasts.

Back in the US

First off, I’m sorry for slacking blog-wise during the end of our J Term trip to Prague - we were having trouble finding time to get online and post.  Secondly, HI! to all of the parents from the trip who read my blog with such dedication, and I’m sorry for making you all worry about the hockey hooligans.  Thirdly, if you didn’t know, we got back to the states yesterday!  I for one am missing my Prague comrades like crazy, and I can’t wait to see all of my friends who were on campus or off on other jterm trips.

Sometime soon I’ll be posting “Prague: A Retrospective” with tons of pictures for everyone...but until then, I hope you all enjoyed my miniature account of our trip and the photos that I was able to post at the time.

More snapshots…

* This entry was accidently posted on Nick’s blog, but you probably guessed by now that it was actually my post… *

I decided to blog again while I have free wi-fi...As I said in my last entry, we’ve done quite a bit since my last post before today.

We’ve seen tons of Prague and a bit of Poland, we’ve seen a stained glass window designed by Mucha and had the “best” ice cream in Prague, we went to a five floor discotheque and had a history lesson about Prague in the 20th century, we went to a fantastic ice hockey game (SPARTA!!!) and got chased by hockey hooligans, and it feels like time has flown by.  Only 9 more days until we fly back to JFK, and I’m still trying to soak of the glory of this beautiful place while I still can.  Luckily for me, I’ll be back for a week this summer to sing in the choral festival.

Also, just a quick note: Hi, Lydia’s mom!  Thanks for reading my blog with such dedication!
